So this weekend is gonna be alot of fun. Friday is my birthday and Sweet Sixteen party (time changed from 7-11 to 7:30-11:30). Afterward, i think my best friends are coming over to hang out & five camp friends are sleeping over.

Saturday the Cayugians and I are taking the bus into the city, and walking around and shopping, and going to Serendipitys, and I think Arielle, Drew, and Alex are sleeping over Saturday night. We jsut have to figure out all the details.

and in between tons of school word since its the beginning of the second semister, and unfortunately, i am not a senior who gets to sit on their ass doing nothing the rest of the year.
mad that my digital camera is being fixed in chicago from when jessie dropped it on the teentour over the summer. its not covered under warranty and will coust $150 and another 2-3 weeks to replace, meaning i won't have it for the weekend. it's a good thing ari jsut got one that i will use.
i'm starting driving lessons in like 2 weeks!!! i'm excited, and hopefully my dad will take me out driving for the first time this coming week if i have time.
i keep forgetting to ask my parents to buy my plane ticket for the trip to atlanta. i feel so bad, i've been asking them for so much money lately, which is why i've been putting off asking them about RJI, since its $218, plus spending money. When my brother joins soon, its gonna be so much money for both of us. they really need to offer sibling discounts or something like that.
Anyway, i have my sweet sixteen, RJI, and the trip to atlanta coming up that they have to pay for. PLUS the wisconsin thing this summer, which is expensive, then 2 weeks after i come home i'm flying to california to work with my aunt, which they have to pay for too. Add redoing the kitchen, and buying my mom and me new cars, i feel really bad. i really should get a job and stop making them give me $20-$25 three times a week for going out, plus lunch money. i just dont like to work. its not that i'm lazy, i'm just afraid i'll be stupid and not understand things. I think I'm finally realizing just how much money my parents spend on me each year. Counting Spring Break (Mexico) and Winter Break (Aruba) in 2004, i'll be going on 5 plane trips, this year, 3 not even with my parents. I think its a little excessive for a 16 year old, considering some people haven't even been on a plane 5 times in their lives.
well i'm done ranting, i have to go clean my room, or my mom isn't giving me money to go out on tuesday.

so i cant even remember the last time i wrote in here, so this might be a little long.
midterms have finished an i got 2 B's and 2 C's so far. The Straight-A's Cassie is apparently a thing of the past..
I got a really pretty jewelry box from my Grandma for my birthday. It is all glass with mirrors, with my invitation in it.
I'm seeing my camp friends in one week. I'm so glad all five (Ari, Kristen, Drew, Tom, Alex) could make it here for my Sweey Sixteen, it's gonna be so great for us all to be together again, and they will really make it a special night. The next day (Valentine's Day) We might all go shopping in the city and to Serendipity, because most of them are Serendipity virgins.
Tonight I have to pick all the songs I'm using for my candlelighting, even though only 5 candles are written yet.

i hate the week before midterms. so much work, finishing up everything for my half year class. got an a on my ap history test, for the 3rd time this year, so im happy.
last night was wayne bbg cpk night. fun times, didn't stay for long because brooke and i went to coach and bloomingdales. then i came home, watched gilmore girls, one tree hill, and real world, and got in yet another fight with my parents.
today is tons of homework, the oc, and the grandmother is here.
wendy and i need to go on a kreitner outing soon. were wayyyy over due.
i'm so excited to go down to georgia in april, i hope everything works out. now sarah's going to, and maybe zack, lauren said, so now 4 of the 9 will be reunited plus zack.
funniest thing yesterday was zack's im:

haha.. i don't remember when it was, but all the girls were wearing skirts and hal gets on the loud speaker thing on the bus and announces that.. sooo funny. and if anyone from the nine remembers the campsite in san diego when we were all sitting behind the bus and hal comes over and we say its a vagina conversation and he tries to join in. hal has to be the weirdest guy i've ever met. if anyone is wondering who hal is, it was our old, austin powers-like teeth bus driver for our teentour. yeah, about that.

So im sitting in journalism kind of annoyed that were in school when everyone else has off today. We should of had a delayed opening because of the snow, but we didn't even have that.
This week is gonna be pretty busy, the week before midterms. Tonight i have to get alot of my homework out of the way, since the rest of the week is busy.
Tomorrow is gonna be fun. CPK with the bbg girls @ 6:30, then brooke might come over to watch gilmore girls (jess is gonna be on again!), one tree hill, and maybe real world.
wednesday the brooklyn grandmother is coming over. yippee. kosher chinese food and weird jewish stories. but my parents pay me to be nice since she has cancer and all, and we don't see her that often.
thursday i dont really have anything to do, and friday i might go to the hills hockey game with brooke, and i think im actually going to study for midterms most of the weekend, and maybe see a movie thats on becky and my list.
brittany and i keep having some of the funniest conversations.

i'm excited that i'm seeing my camp friends for my birthday. I invited Ari, Kristen, Drew, Alex, Tom, and Emily to come and sleep over, and i hope they all come, because it will be the first time we're all together since August 19, 2002. (not that i know the date or anything).
feb 10 is gonna be fun too. me, brooke, becker, brita, strauss and tara, and jess are going to izumi for brooke and my birthday since brooke's is the 7th and mine is the 13th. i don't know what to get her though.
feb 11 is the trip to philly with the 2 AP History classes. should be fun, but that means having layman allllll day.
i think my summer plans are pretty much settled, my mom is still being a bitch though. I'm gonna go to wisconsin with brooke from june 27 to july 17, california right after that till probably august 5th or so, then IC august 16-22, and rlti august 24-28, if the dates don't change. it should be a fun summer.
i think i figured out how i can go to georgia in april, i just have to know if im steering or not. hopefully i will, now bressler is going to, so i'll be able to see her, lauren, katie, and maybe some of the boys, if they come.

So yesterday was a snowday, and today was a delayed opening.
Tonight i saw big fish with wendy, tara, becky, and jess, it was really good. then i came home and had a talk with ARIELLE because we havent had a big talk in a while. then THOMAS joined in, which again, we havent done in a while. im SOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED to see them for my birthday!!! and of course how can i forget KRISTEN, DREW AND ALEX! i cant wait! there all sleeping over after my party.
Tomorrow i have to wake up early to go look at sweatshirts and centerpieces, then im going to nordstrom to get shoes, starting midterm reviews, then babysitting. im such a loser, i know.

just kidding. i don't love her THAT much. but she made my icon :)
havent written since friday so my weekend went as follows:
FRIDAY NIGHT- shopping with MOTHER KREITNER to get an outfit for hil's sweet 16 sat night. nothing like last minute. Then i met up with Becky and Jess at CPK. We ate. I love how we all say were gonna get different things, then get our usuals. Then we left and went to see cheaper by the dozen, which was really cute
SATURDAY- shopping at GSP with MOTHER KREITNER and BROTHER KREITNER. (the caps here is all for brittany). i got the dress for my sweet sixteen. its tiffany blue with black, and i'll she you a pic if you want to see it.
SATURDAY NIGHT- Hil's sweet sixteen.. fun but i was tired and sick so i left early. Love you Hilary!
SUNDAY- did homework and slept- all day

Yesterday (Lunes aka Monday) had an algebra test (got a 98- my highest grade all year! Nothing else that interesting happened, except we didnt have gym becaus the girls locker room had no lights. i've honestly gotten dressed 3 times this entire 2nd half, its great.

Today (Tuesday) i had an ap history test which i got a 24/25 on (including 3 points extra credit) that means i need at least a 3/5 on the essay part to keep the A, which shouldnt be a problem. Im so happy im doing better lately.
tonight was the best night. CPK with wend, tara, chloe, hil, erica, lauren.
funniest thing was when the waitress yelled "erica!" and erica yells "whaaattttt?!?" haha. Maggies was fun too.
Maggiemoo is a sophisticated she-cow with a mix of moxie and a smooth delivery, who's not afraid to toot her own horn* (*or ring my own cow bell) about creating the freshest and tastiest treats imooginable. Even though Maggie grew up ON a farm, this cosmoopolitan vixen soon felt the tug of the mootropolis. Maggie led a drive to the city in her cattle-lac. With her style and grace Maggie embraced city life. HAHAHA

if anyone feels like doing me a favor, nows your chance. my aunt is the editor and chief of a magazine and their doing an article on teens, and she sent me a list of questions she needs people in high school to answer.so here's her email:
"I want you to ask your friends--from all over the country, not just NJ--about what's cool or hot right now. Like, what are you guys watching on TV, what music is hot, what colors, what clothes, what styles. If you could have products that you don't have, what would they be? In other words I want you to give me the inside scoop of the 15/16 year old mind."

so.. what has happened since i last wrote.. nothing.
After Keri's thursday i went home, showered, and went to gsp.
Friday i went to short hills.
saturday i worked on an essay, and went to long island for my uncles birthday
today i worked on my essay and just sat around, and cleaned my room.
i actually had fun on break doing absolutely nothing and shopping. i've eben looking for a dress for my sweet sixteen and have narrowed it down to two at jessica mcclintock. its been a very relaxing break, not really seeing anyone and sleeping almost 12 hours a day. i really dont want to go back to school, especially since we dont have another day of till february 16, my birthday weekend. :)
i dont understand why we dont get MLK day off. i know that the number of black kids in our school you can count on both hands (not trying to be racist, just stating the facts), but we can always use a break. and while everyone on long island has the whole we off in february, we have one day.
ok im going to sleep so i can wake up in the morning. |

last night was so much fun. wend and i went to cory's and watched swimfan. he had to change his outfit twice to make sure he looked ok. it was really funny.
then jay came over and we went to keris. rnadolph is really in the middle of nowhere. i'm not gonna write every detail of the night but some:
-SEGREGATION.. seperating the while and black m&ms and watching jay, evan & adam try to chug them
-Jay and his serious sweating problem.. hanging out the window on the way there
-fun time on the sex machine
-pillow fights
-jay and mike rapping for over an hour
-not going to sleep till around 6am
-broken telephone
-5 hours on the couch.. and NOTHING.
-swedish fish poker
-N****R.. and how many times it was said
-keri's mom's directions on how to FLUSH THE TOILET
-"ABSOLUTELY NO ONE IS ALLLOWED TO USE THIS COMPUTER!"
-Jay being possessive over the couch

So we finally have almost-definite plans.
Wendy, Jay, and I are going over Cory's to hang out, then his parents are driving us to Keri's in Randolph, and we're sleeping over!!!!! |

so today for the first time i took a bus into the city by myself to go shopping with drew, who i have not seen in exactly one year. it was so much fun we went EVERYWHERE.
we went to a cool little place on broadway for breakfast with her mom and dad. those had to be the smallest tables ever! haha. we had challah french toast that wasnt even challah.
then her parents went to the diamond district and we went to the Hershey store. we wanted the hershey times square shirts so we can have a second pair of matching hershey shirts but they only had kids xs, which was obviously too small.
then we went to footlocker, and sephora. we must have been in there for an hour.
then we walked up like 15 blocks and saw the tree and skating rink, and the windows at saks. we also went to lacoste and louis vuitton, but it was too crowded to actually try to buy something.
then we went to bendel's where we spent like another hour. drew got the cutest mary quant powder and case, and i got a headband.
then we left and drew wanted to take a cab and i didnt so we walked and got starbucks on the way back to the hotel.
we sat in the lounge and people watched outside the windows. the funnist thing had to be the women whose hair exactly matched her shirt!
i called alex and we talked to him for a bit about new years and stuff. neither of us had talked to him in a looong time. then drew called tom and talked, and he and i talked about getting together before school starts up, so hopefully that will happen. we live only 35 minutes away so i'm glad we'll be able to see each other 2 months in a row.
then drews parents were running late getting her mom's new ring, so we went out to the mtv store, virgin, and the marriot marquis. drew's hotel was right in time square so it was good. by time my dad was waiting to meet us in jersey for 2 hours, so i felt kinda bad.
we left around 6 and met my dad in jersey. the day was so much fun, it was great to see drew, and her parents, who for some reason really like me.
i cant wait till i see them all for my birthday. ari, drew, tom, kristen, and binder.. its gonna be crazzzyyy.. hopefully we can go into the city to serendipitys because drew and i didnt have a chance to go today :(
